“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

Ephesians 2:10

The James House is an organization That works with youth that find themselves in a situation with out fathers (the fatherless), and with the elderly who find themselves in a situation without children to look after them (the forgotten).

So, how do we do this?

1 on 1 Mentoring

Service Projects

Adventure Trips

We take an active role in the lives of young people who find themselves in a tough situation they did not ask for.

1 on 1 mentoring engages youth profoundly. Our time together can be spent in a variety of ways, construction, artistic woodwork, Bible study, music, and more!

One of our end goals are to combine the young, energetic students into our ministry with the forgotten elderly to help care for them in their last dignified years. This is done in the means of service projects and even the forming of bonds with music or art.

Adventure trips are everyones favorite! These trips are used to motivate students, foster deeper relationships, and provide a new experience for someone who may have never been able to have that opportunity before.

"Bunk beds for BFF" At first I thought the bed should be neat and we should stage this picture better, but now that I reflect on it I remember how excited the children were just to see the truck pull up. They knew this day was special that soon they would have a new bunk bed. They threw their stuff on it in haste making sure to have their favorite stuffed animals and it made me a happy craftsman.

"Lazarus"  Entrepreneurs never know when to quit. Even when things seem dead and buried they carry the dream to reality.

I wish I was able to display

the true wonder of

this whole ministry.

When the young or old who feel discarded and abandoned by the culture realize they are loved by Jesus and that he will do an awesome work in their lives, then we know our work reaches an eternal value.

. For the sake of their dignity and privacy we choose to keep those accounts for face to face interactions.
